Professor Plummer obtained his Ph.D. degree
from the University of Michigan in 1966. He has published over 100 papers in graph theory and
combinatorics and co-authored the book "Matching Theory" with Professor L¨˘szl¨® Lov¨˘sz.
He serves on the Editorial Boards of two Journals Utilitas Mathematica and Thai Journal of
Mathematics. He has just retired from the position of the Director of Graduate Studies in
math department at the Vanderbilt university.
