The cross Package is a package for generating the minimum free energy(mfc), 3-noncrossing, delta-canonical RNA structure. Here an RNA structure is 3-noncrossing if it does not contain more than three mutually crossing arcs and delta-canonical, if each of its stacks has size greater or equal than delta. Our notion of mfs-structure is based on a specific concept of pseudoknot-loops and respective loop-based energy parameters. How to install:

Usually you'll just unpack, configure and make. What you need to do is just typing the following: tar -zxvf cross-1.0.tar.gz cd cross-1.0 ./configure make and (as root) make install The package is free software and can be downloaded as C source code that should be easy to compile on almost any flavor of Unix and Linux.
